Commitment to Awesome

About Key Pixel

The Key Pixel Gathering of Film Makers an open source, transnational association of writers, producers, musicians and artists. We have one goal: the Commitment to Awesome.

Key Pixel was first formed under the moniker “Southern Ontario, Upstate New York Gathering of Filmers” in 2005, with the production of the short film iSpy. The original team consisted of Justin Monk, Laszlo Kovacs, Andrew Hookway and Bryan Patrick Stoyle. After the completion of iSpy, the team rebranded to the shorter moniker of Key Pixel. Over the years the team has expanded to include Aaron Kondziela, Christopher Spenceley, and Craig Helfer. Key Pixel has produced a number of different film projects, with short films featured on such websites as Ain’t It Cool News and io9.

Rather than focusing on limitations and regrets, we make the best damn films we can, inspired by the love of the medium and the camaraderie of our association. We are not going to site on our asses and complain that no one is making movie we’d like to see. Instead, we’re going to show you how to do it the right way on no budget. We’ll make you cry, we’ll make you laugh, we’ll make you cheer… but most importantly we’ll make you want to come along for the ride.
