Laszlo Kovacs

Writer, Director, Producer

Laszlo Kovacs

When not daydreaming about film and food Laszlo Kovacs is a Security Specialist for Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. Trying to alleviate the boredom of this monotone existence he’s worked on film projects produced in the bad old days of VHS-C and has since been introduced to the digital age more often than not winding up in the co-director’s chair assisting with low plot/high action Star Wars fan films as well as consulting on the writing and choreography for other production teams.

In an attempt to create something original, Laszlo restructured the Writer’s Block Media group to found the Key Pixel Gathering of Filmers, inviting colleagues from past successful film projects. Taking advantage of the assembled talent, he wrote the screenplay for and set in motion the production of the post-cyberpunk thriller UCF: Toronto Cybercide as the group’s flagship title.
